Gwinnett County commissioners are moving forward with plans to revitalize the old Gwinnett Place Mall property, but first they want input from the community.

County officials will hold their first Community Open House Friday, Sept. 10 at the mall property on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth.

The county will take feedback starting at 6 p.m., looking specifically for input on the future of the property, a vision for the revitalization of the area and how the project relates to equity for Gwinnett.

Following the input session, the county will host a family movie night at sunset, including free food and children's activities.

A movie night will follow at sunset, along with free food and kids’ activities.

Gwinnett County finalized the purchase of the mall earlier this year.
