JEFFERSON — The North Hall girls took fifth in the North Georgia Championships at Lamar Murphy on Saturday.
The Trojans placed fifth overall with 96 total points but had a pair freshmen finish in the top 10 in their first official meet of the season.
Clodagh O'Bryant took third in the individual race with a time of 19:04, and fellow newcomer Harleigh Smith was eighth with a 19:56 time.
Pace Academy won the event with 54 points edging out South Forsyth (55) for the title. Parkview finished third with 76 points, and North Gwinnett was fourth with 81 points.
The Lady Knights' Carolien Hood won the individual race in an 18:15.42 time.
The Buford girls were seventh with 185 points.
