GAINESVILLE — North Hall went a perfect 4-0 in the Hall County Championships on Saturday.
It did not come easy, however, as the Lady Trojans need three sets to win in three of the four matches.
North Hall opened with a 2-1 win over West Hall (25-21, 17-25, 15-6) and then swept Chestatee 25-19 and 25-9. The Lady Trojans followed with another tough match beating Gainesville 25-16, 20-25, 17-15 to stay unbeaten. They closed it out with a hard-fought 25-23, 10-25, 15-12 victory over Flowery Branch.
Lexie Martin had a huge day for the Lady Trojans with 50 assists, 6 aces, and 6 kills. Claire Bowen had 17 kills and 8 blocks, Gavyn Graber had 20 kills and 5 aces, and AnnaKate Shoaf had 20 digs, 4 aces for North Hall.
Amelia Shoemaker had 12 kills, Sarah Davidson had 10 kills, Carly Bowen had 10 digs, Hannah Goss had 7 kills, and Karsyn Savage had 3 aces and 8 digs for the Lady Trojans.
North Hall (10-2) will jump back into Region 7-3A play traveling to Dawson County on Tuesday.
