DAHLONEGA — Chamblee's offense didn't truly break Lumpkin County's defense until the third quarter.

But when it did, the Bulldogs (2-0) connected on touchdown passes of 67 and 50 yards and added a 13-yard rushing score to blow open the game en route to a 54-7 win at Lynn Cottrell Stadium on Friday.

The Bulldogs outgained the Indians 467-137 yards.

Lumpkin's (0-2) lone score came on a 10-yard pass from Cooper Scott to his brother AJ Scott on a 4th and 7 play in the fourth quarter. Cooper Scott was 6-of-7 for 72 yards passing and a touchdown. He rushed for 48 yards.

Chamblee's Fabian Walker was 12-of-20 for 280 yards passing and four touchdowns, while Larry Harris led the rushing attack with seven carries for 68 yards. Xander Smith was the leading target with two catches for 116 yards and a score.
