A couple of road closures are scheduled in the coming days for downtown Gainesville.
Main Street NW between Academy Street and Brenau Avenue is closed and will reopen tomorrow at 6:30 a.m, according to a press release from the City of Gainesville.
Beginning Monday, Oak Street will close daily between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The daily closures will end on Friday, August 27.
During these closures, drivers are encouraged to use caution and watch for construction crews and equipment.
