GAINESVILLE — The Chestatee Volleyball team continued its strong start to the season on Tuesday sweeping Dawson County and Commerce in a tri-meet.
The Lady War Eagles beat Dawson County 25-15 and 25-14 and then spiked Commerce 25-7 and 25-3 to improve to 8-0 on the young season.
Freshman Valiree Schmus had 11 kills and is hitting .430 on the season. Senior Anna Grace Edmonds added 4 kills and is hitting at a whopping .500 clip so far.
