The annual high school football scrimmage season came to an end for most Northeast Georgia teams on Friday.
Jefferson is the only team left with a couple of scrimmages on the Saturday slate at Hart County.

In the biggest storyline going into the night, Riverside Military Academy was back on the grass at McGinnis Field after COVID-19 shuttered the Eagles' season in 2020. East Hall rolled past the Eagles 52-14.
As expected North Hall and Flowery Branch gave each other a serious fight with the Falcons coming out on top 17-13 at Falcon Field. Meanwhile, at Lakeview Academy, the Lions blew past Lumpkin County, 33-14.
The area's newest school, East Forsyth, got its first taste of varsity football against White County. The Warriors walked out of 1/2 Mile Stadium with a 34-6 win.
In other action, East Jackson held on to beat Oglethorpe, 21-17. Rabun County racked up 44 points en route to a 44-14 win over St. Francis in Tiger.
