Cleveland man arrested after Hall County motorcycle chase

A Cleveland man is facing charges by the Georgia State Patrol after he allegedly led law enforcement on a chase on State Route 365 and Interstate 985 on a stolen motorcycle.

Trent Michael Ash, 21, faces charges from the State Patrol including driving under the influence, fleeing and attempting to elude, speeding, reckless driving, failure to obey traffic control device, and driving on wrong class license

Hall County Sheriff's Deputies requested assistance Saturday afternoon from the State Patrol while in pursuit of a stolen motorcycle on SR 365; the State Patrol took over the chase at exit 24 of the interstate. Off the exit, headed away from Gainesville, troopers were able to channel the motorcycle to the shoulder of Old Cornelia Highway. 

Ash reportedly lost control in the grass and crashed. He suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment, and was arrested at the scene. 

In Hall County, Ash faces speeding, theft by recieving stolen property, theft by recieving stolen vehicle, and possession of methamphetamine - VGCSA charges.
