Jody Blalock, Sr. scores Pro victory at Atlanta Dragway

Jody Blalock, Sr. finally broke through with his first Summit ET Series drag racing win of the season in Pro competition at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia.

The Commerce, Georgia native piloted his 1949 Hudson to the win over Woody Bryant in his 1968 Chevy Camaro in the final.

Blalock, Sr. dialed in on a 6.79 and ran a 6.817 ET at 101.64 mph and a 0.004 reaction time.

Bryant dialed in on a 6.75 and ran a 6.739 ET at 102.35 mph and a 0.056 reaction time.

Other winners on the day included John Hobbs in Super Pro, Russell Haskins in Sportsman, Stephen Skelton in Jr. Street, Tim Sutton in Box Motorcycle, Ken Ford in No Box Motorcyle, Kate Ward in 5-9 Jr. Dragster, Ava Ward in 10-12 Jr. Dragster, and Brycen Hartmann in 13-17 Jr. Dragster.
