On the two-year anniversary of the death of Hall County Sheriff's Deputy Blane Dixon, three of the young men convicted in his murder will be sentenced.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday, July 8 in Hall County Superior Court for Hector Garcia-Solis, Edgar Velazquez and London Clements. All three were convicted a week ago in the murder of the 28-year-old deputy.

The death penalty is not an option for sentencing, since Garcia-Solis, Velazquez and Clements were all 17 at the time of the murder.

Judge Jason Deal will pronounce sentence against the three men, who were tried at the same time.

A jury spent about four hours in deliberation prior to handing down convictions on the following charges:

HECTOR GARCIA SOLIS (15 total counts)

EDGAR VELAZQUEZ (14 total counts)

LONDON CLEMENTS (2 counts)
