Stop us if you've heard this one before.  Chase Elliott scored the win on Sunday on a road course.

Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Road America came out exactly the way the odds makers said it would, with pre-race favorite Elliott assuming the lead in the third segment and then driving away from the competition.

Our Hard Left Turn crew has a look at all the twists and turns from the race at the 4.11 mile track in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, including:

-Elliott's win made it a lock for Georgia drivers in NCS competition at Road America - the only other winner at the track was NASCAR and Georgia Racing Hall of Famer Tim Flock in 1956.

-Pit strategy played a huge part in the outcome of the race, with various teams trying to out smart each other.

-With the increase of road courses on the NCS schedule, the question of bringing in more "local" cautions has come to light.

-Atlanta Motor Speedway has announced a major "reprofiling" of the 1.5-mile track for the 2022 season.  Is this good or bad?

Plus, we'll preview this weekend's NASCAR weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
