Howard, Moore score USCS Sprint wins in Tennessee

Dale Howard and Howard Moore both scored USCS Sprint Car Series victories over the weekend in the Volunteer State.

Howard as victorious on Friday night at Tennessee’s Lexington 104 Speedway, while Moore took the win on Saturday night at Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, Tennessee.

On Friday night, Howard took advantage of early race leader Dewayne White’s bad luck. Luck’s car ran out of fuel, allowing Howard to take the lead and drive to his third straight series victory.

Howard Moore finished in second, with Terry Gray in third, Brent Crews in fourth and Morgan Turpen in fifth.

In earlier action, Howard, Gray and White won their respective heat races, while Turpen was the winner in the speed dash.

On Saturday night, Howard Moore bested his previous night’s result by one to score the victory at Thunderhill Raceway.

Dale Howard followed in second, with Gray in third, Landon Britt in fourth and Slater Helt in fifth.

In earlier action, Moore, and Britt won their respective heat races, while Moore also won in the speed dash.
