Photos and videos helped the FBI track down two more Georgians apparently involved in the January 6, 2021 raid on the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C.

Nolan Harold Kidd of Crawford in Oglethorpe County and Savannah Danielle McDonald of Elberton in Elbert County were arrested in Macon on Friday, June 11, according to an FBI affidavit.

Kidd and McDonald face the same charges in the incident:

The felony charges carry a possible 10 year prison sentence upon conviction.

In the affidavit, the investigating agent said Kidd and McDonald are believed to have traveled to Washington, D.C. together on Jan. 5, 2021.

The FBI received tips on Jan. 11 about Kidd's presence at the incident, including a screenshot of a Facebook account thought to belong to Kidd. The post included an album of photos with the caption "Just made it home, I have tons of photos and videos to share with you guys." The FBI received a tip about McDonald's presence at the Capitol on Jan. 14, according to the affidavit.

Both Kidd and McDonald were interviewed separately by FBI agents, McDonald claiming that they were escorted into the government building by Capitol police and Kidd claiming the doors to the Capitol building were wide open.

Video attributed to Kidd also appeared on a Young Patriot Society compilation video posted to YouTube on Jan. 16, 2021.

In the compilation video, a reporter talks to both Kidd and McDonald. McDonald tells the reporter they were among the first 100 people to enter the Capitol and Kidd states "We got in from the back." McDonald also claimed she was tear-gassed at three different points during the incident.

With the arrests of Kidd and McDonald, a total of 13 Georgians have been arrested as part of the Capitol breach.
