A suspect has been arrested and charged in the March shooting deaths of two brothers in a Lawrenceville home.

Walter Devron Hill, 28, was arrested Wednesday and remained in the Gwinnett County Jail without bond as of Thursday, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Hill faces two counts of felony murder and two counts of aggravated assault.

The AJC report states that Hill was considered a family friend of Darius Myles, 28, and Christopher Smith, 21.

Myles and Smith’s mother, Tyreene Brown, reportedly first discovered their bodies after she let herself into their home when she could not reach them by phone.

Brown told the AJC that investigators had enough evidence to secure a warrant for Hill’s arrest about two weeks ago. On Wednesday, Gwinnett Police and the U.S. Marshals Service located and arrested Brown in DeKalb County.
