DENVER — Cheyanne Mosteller executed a perfect squeeze bunt in the bottom of the seventh scoring Madi Perry to give the North Georgia women's softball team a thrilling 1-0 win over St. Anselm on Saturday in the NCAA Division II championships.

The win kept the Nighthawks alive in the tournament in the double-elimination format. They will take on Biola at 6 p.m. on Saturday with a chance to get to the championship series.

In the seventh, Perry walked to lead off the inning and later stole second. She moved to third one batter later on freshman Hannah Forehand's infield single. Two pitches later Mosteller laid down a bunt making the St. Anselm pitcher field the ball and Perry slid under the tag for the game-winner.

Senior Kylee Smith (18-5) went the distance in the circle for North Georgia.
