Missing Lumpkin County man's truck found, no sign of him

The Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office is searching for a 50-year-old man who was last seen Sunday, May 9. 

Tony Lamar Cates appeared to be in good condition at that time, according to information released Thursday by the sheriff's office. A co-worker told authorities that Cates had been in contact by phone on Monday morning, and he sounded okay a that time. However, at 5:30 a.m. a truck normally driven by Cates was found parked at Mill Crek Baptist Church in Dahlonega. 

Cates is white and he was last seen with a beard.

Tony Lamar Cates, 50, has been reported missing by the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office.
