The Regal Hollywood Cinemas in Gainesville now has a reopening date: May 14.
The theater in Dawsonville is also scheduled to open on the same day.
A release from Regal Cinemas reads, "As we re-open our theatres, we remain committed to the safety of our patrons and employees."
Regal Cinemas theaters across the country have been reopening for the past several weeks and will continue to do so for the next month.
Guests and employees will be required to wear face masks at all times while in the building, regardless of if they are in the restroom, lobby or auditorium. Staff will hand out masks to anyone who comes without one.
Concessions will look a little different, too. Every other register will be closed to maintain social distancing and self-service condiment stands will be closed.
The theaters are operating on a 50% reduced capacity and the reservation system will maintain two empty seats between each party.
More changes coming to Regal Cinemas theaters can be found on their website.
