For Alex Bowman, the tale of Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race was told in the final restart, as he powered to the lead and went on to score the win at Richmond.

Our Hard Left Turn crew takes a look at Sunday's race at "The Action Track," including:

-Bowman's crew aired up his tires on the final pit stop with just a handful of laps to go, giving him the quick, short term grip he needed to charge from third past Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano to score his first win of the season.

-For Hamlin, it marked his eighth top five finish in nine races on the season, and his best finish of the year with a second place result.  But after leading 207 laps on the day, he's still locked out of the winner's circle.

-Martin Truex, Jr. and Logano were the only ones capable of contending with Hamlin during the day, only to fall short in the end.

-They call Richmond the "Action Track", but was it really?  Our team takes a look.

-Jimmie Johnson got his first crack at IndyCar competition on Sunday at Barber Motorsports Park, avoiding a major opening lap crash and coming back from an early race solo spin.  But one of our Hard Left Turn crew members seemed more interested in Jimmie's bedazzeling abilities.  We'll discuss.

And we'll preview this weekend's action at the always unpredictable Talladega Superspeedway.
