Authorities are investigating a murder-suicide after a man and his daughter were found dead in a vehicle Saturday evening at a Lawrenceville park.
According to a press release from the Gwinnett County Police Department, an officer conducting a random area check of Bethesda Park around 11:30 p.m. found the vehicle in the back of the parking lot.
The officer found Ignacio Ramos, 45, and his daughter, Valeria Ramos, 11, inside the vehicle. Both were deceased from at least one gunshot wound.
Investigators believe Ignacio Ramos killed Valeria Ramos before committing suicide, according to the release.
Detectives are currently working to identify a motive in the incident.
