Georgia State Patrol looking for driver in Monday hit-and-run crash

The Georgia State Patrol is on the lookout for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run collision in Habersham County Monday afternoon.

Troopers say a red vehicle pulled onto State Route 115 from Habersham Mills Road near Clarkesville and into the path of a motorcycle. The bike hit the back of the car, and the car then fled the scene. The motorcyclist was not seriously hurt.

The incident was reported at 4:24 p.m., according to GSP.

Troopers are searching for more information on the vehicle and its driver.
