Kelvin King joined WDUN's "The Martha Zoller Show" Monday to announce his candidacy for Georgia's U.S. Senate seat currently being held by Democrat Raphael Warnock. King is an Air Force Academy graduate and veteran and has been involved in the Georgia Republican Party. King becomes the first GOP challenger to announce a bid for the seat vacated by the retirement of Republican Johnny Isakson. Warnock defeated Republican appointee Kelly Loeffler for the post in January.
