The Barrow County Board of Commissioners held a special called meeting Friday where they formally named Kevin Little as their new County Manager.
According to a press release from the county, Little has been serving as the Interim County Manager since Jan. 1, 2021.
"We look forward to working with Kevin Little, he is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of County government," Pat Graham, chairman of the Barrow County Board of Commissioners said.
Little has been involved in local government for the past 30 years, including three years with the Georgia Department of Transportation, and 20 years as chairman of the Walton County Board of Commissioners.
"Little brings a wealth of knowledge in transportation, economic development, public works, and employee relations," the release reads.
Little has a Bachelor's degree from Georgia College in Public Administration and Political Science.
“I am truly excited and humbled to be named Barrow County Manager," Little said. "I look forward to working with the Barrow County Board of Commissioners, along with the employees, to continue the successes that are taking place here.”
