The Forsyth County campus of Northside Hospital was recently recognized by Newsweek as one of the World’s Best Hospitals.
According to a release from the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, hospitals were selected for recognition for their consistent excellence including distinguished physicians, top-notch nursing care and state-of-the-art technology. The final rankings included two thousand hospitals spanning more than twenty-five countries.
Northside Hospital Forsyth was one of only seven Georgia hospitals to be recognized.
“Northside Hospital Forsyth Continues to expand services to meet the growing healthcare needs of our community,” Forsyth County Chamber President and CEO James McCoy said in the release. “They have consistently protected our citizens’ health and championed positive community development efforts as a long-standing partner. I am extremely proud of our Northside location and believe their recognition is very well deserved.”
In addition to being named one of the World’s Best Hospitals, Northside Hospital Forsyth was recognized in the Newsweek report for performing above average in infection prevention measures. Forsyth County was also recently named the Healthiest County in Georgia by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for the ninth consecutive year.
