Construction partners with the Georgia Department of Transportation will install a single lane closure on I-985 northbound at the SR 60/Queen City Parkway interchange beginning Friday.
The closure will be in place from 8 p.m. Friday, March 26 through 6 a.m. Monday, March 29, according to a statement from GDOT. The closure will allow for continued rehabilitation construction on the I-985 bridge over SR 60/Queen City Parkway, a project expected to be complete in November.
According to the statement from GDOT, motorists traveling through the project area will experience delays. Exact dates of the project may change due to weather or other factors. Updates on the project’s status and traffic conditions are available at www.511ga.org or by calling 511.
