GAINESVILLE —Lakeview Academy exploded for 12 runs to blow past Mt. Bethel, 12-2, at home on Friday.
After going down 2-0 in the top of the first inning, the Lions outscored Mt. Bethel, 10-0, to get the win.
Jesse Whiting earned the win going four innings while giving up two runs on two hits. He struck out eight. Isaiah Rico pitched one inning in relief, with two strikeouts.
Lakeview scored one run in the second, five in the third, one in the fourth and three in the fifth to run-rule Mt. Bethel.
Tanner Allen was 2-for-3, with a two-run home run and three RBIs. Parker Allen finished 2-for-4 with a triple and four RBIs. Conley Millwood was 2-for-3 with a double.

After three scoreless innings, the Dragons (8-4, 3-0 Region 8-4A) erupted for nine runs in the fourth inning to get the win on the road Friday.
Cole Watkins was 2-for-4 at the plate with three RBIs to lead the Dragons. Nick Sellers also drove in two runs with a 1-for-4 day at the plate.
JJ Rapp, Matthew Perrin and Landon Richards all drove in one run apiece.
Austin Bell picked up the win, allowing six hits while striking out five.

The Knights scored five runs in the sixth inning to beat East Jackson on Friday.
Peyton Lavergne, Joshua Lopez, Nathan Seabolt and Joey Lopez were key in the sixth inning rally, driving in the go-ahead runs.
Tristen Nguyen picked up the win on the mound for Johnson, surrendering just on run on two hits in six innings. He struck out 12.
Seabolt went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Johnson Knights in hits.
NORTH HALL 13,

No. 2 North Hall completed its three-game sweep of the Bobcats with another big win on Friday at home.
Landon Lee earned the win on the hill, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out six in four innings of work.
The Trojans scattered 13 runs over five innings to seal the run-rule victory over the Bobcats.
Jace Bowen finished the day 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs to lead the Trojans' offense. Eli Reece was 1-for-1 with three RBIs. Jaret Bales also drove in two runs, while Tate Brooks, Luke Erickson, Baker Dyer and Ben Crumpton had one RBI apiece.

The Spartans haven't had any problems scoring runs, especially against Dawson County.
West Hall completed the season sweep of the Tigers in Dawsonville on Friday with Kyle Murphy smashing a monster grand slam plus a two-run shot over the fence for a 3-for-4 day at the plate and six RBIs. Tyler Maynard also nailed a three-run homer.
Murphy pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing three hits while striking out eight.
Julian Horner had two hits for the Tigers.

CEDAR SHOALS 0
The Falcons rolled out to a 9-0 lead after the second inning to rout Cedar Shoals and sweep the series on Friday at Hog Mountain Park.
Mason Compton earned the win, going two innings while striking out six. Jacob Moore pitched an inning and struck out two, and Tristan Brown also tossed an inning with a strikeout.
Kaleb Freeman ripped two doubles and Kade Small smashed two hits and drove in five runs.
