While not as unexpected as the three previous winners on the NASCAR Cup Series so far this season, Kyle Larson certainly wasn't thought to be a contender to be a winner on the NASCAR Cup Series this early in the season.
Unless, of course, you name is Kyle Larson. Then it wasn't quite as unexpected as you might think.
Our Hard Left Turn crew is set to break down this past weekend's Pennzoil 400 form Las Vegas Motor Speedway, including:
-Once he got out front, there was just no catching Kyle Larson on Sunday, as he drove to a 3.156-second win over Brad Keselowski.
-There were 27 lead changes among 12 drivers in what was a very competitive race at Las Vegas.
-With all three manufacturers represented on the podium, there was a lot of parity seen on Sunday.
-Kevin Harvick came into the day as the favorite, but was never a factor, finishing a lap off the pace in 20th.
-After running up front early, Chase Elliott suffered damage on a pit stop and spun on his own, relegating him to a 13th place finish in the end.
--Plus we'll look at the latest news items and preview this weekend's race at Phoenix Raceway.
