Two Hall County Jail inmates are recovering after each suffered a suspected drug overdose last week.
According to a press release from the Hall County Sheriff's Office, deputies and jail medical staff responded to the two men who were showing signs of drug overdoses Friday evening.
Jail staff administered naloxone to both inmates, who were then transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center by Hall County Fire Services.
Both inmates are expected to make a full recovery, according to the release.
The release states an unknown powdery substance in a small plastic bag was found in one of the inmate's cells. The substance was sent to the GBI Crime Lab for analysis.
The case is under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.
