HARTWELL — No. 2 ranked Hart County used the 3-point shot to perfection in a 70-44 rout of Cherokee Bluff on Saturday in the second round of the Class 3A tournament on Saturday at home.
The Bulldogs scored 27 of their 31 points from behind the 3-point arc to take a 31-18 lead by halftime.
JC Curry scored 12 of his 19 points in the second quarter, and Shone Webb hit nine of his 23 points from 3-point land to set the pace for the Bulldogs in the win.
Dre Raven, Corey Thomas and Jaylon Justice netted 11 each to pace the Bears offensively. Shad Dabney finished with nine points.
The Bulldogs outscored Bluff 39-26 in the second half.
