BUFORD — The Buford girls kept their 23-game win streak going as they blew past Dacula, 68-29, in the semifinals of the Region 8-6A tournament at Buford City Arena on Friday.
Ava Grace Watson and Sara Viti led the way for the Lady Wolves with 13 points each. Ashyia Willis added 12, and Tatum Ozment hit for 9 points.
Buford (23-0) will play Habersham Central (18-4) in the region championship on Saturday at the Buford City Arena. Game time is set for 6:30 p.m.
The Lady Raiders knocked off Lanier in the semifinals, 48-35, to advance to the region championship game.

The Lakeview girls fell behind in the second quarter and couldn't rally back in the loss to Mt. Pisgah in the consolation round of the Region 6-A tournament on Friday.
Joelle Snyder led the Lady Lions with 31 points, and Ashlyn Henderson pulled eight rebounds.
The Lady Lions played Mt. Pisgah to a tie after the first quarter, 10-10, but fell behind by half time, 32-23, and 56-36 at the end of the third quarter.
Lakeview will play Mount Paran in the first round of the state next week.
