The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is investigating a single vehicle crash that killed one person yesterday afternoon.
According to a report from the Sheriff's Office, fifty-eight-year-old Sheila Giglia of Cumming was traveling west bound on Bethelview Road in a 2007 Kia Sedona just before 4:30 p.m. Giglia's vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and crossed over two lanes of oncoming traffic, including the intersection Polo Fields Parkway, before hitting a tree.
First responders arrived on the scene shortly after and found Giglia unresponsive. Giglia was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
