GAINESVILLE — The Gainesville boys tennis team rallied for a 3-2 win over Oconee County Wednesday afternoon at the Longwood Courts.
Truett Keener at No. 3 singles provided the clinching match with a tough three-set win (6-4, 4-6, 10-8) over Daniel Magee.
Gainesville also swept the doubles with No. 1 team Caleb Anderson and Charlie Burns getting a 6-1, 7-5 win and the No. 2 team of Samuel Holt and Andrew Elliott following with a 6-4, 7-5 victory.
Philip Mady and Kamyaab Cornett both dropped straight-set matches at Nos. 1 and 2 singles for the Red Elephants.

DULUTH 2
The Lady Falcons improved to 2-1 on the season with holding on for a tough road win.
Alyssa McSpadden and Sandra Hernandez both earned straight-set wins at the top of singles and the No. 2 doubles team of Katie Martin and Avery Marx also took a win in straight sets for Flowery Branch.
Julianna Velaj dropped a tough three-set affair at No. 3 singles and the No. 1 doubles team of Madison Sedwick and Savannah Regnier also lost in straight sets.

DULUTH 1
The Branch boys swept the singles in getting a win over the Wildcats.
Will Hernandez, Jack Thomas, and Caden Caldwell all took solid straight-set wins dropping just 10 total games. The No. 2 doubles team of Grant Anglin and Josh Warren won a tough 6-4, 7-6 match for the Falcons points.
The team of Mason Foreman and Santino Sengson lost 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles for Flowery Branch.
