A Roswell woman is believed to have been under the influence of drugs when she hit a pick up truck head-on with her car Wednesday morning in South Hall County.

The Georgia State Patrol believes Andrea Aronhime, 43, was high on methamphetamine and marijuana at the time of the accident on Spout Springs Road southbound at Union Circle in Flowery Branch.

She was charged accordingly, with DUI, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, failure to maintain lane and driving on the wrong side of the roadway, according to information from the GSP.

Troopers said in a media release that Aronhime was traveling south on Spout Springs Road around a curve when she lost control, was driving on the wrong side of the roadway, and struck the pick up truck head-on. While the pick up truck driver was uninjured, Aronhime had to be extricated by Hall County Fire Services and taken to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
