FLOWERY BRANCH — It was a clean sweep for the Gainesville boys tennis team in a 5-0 win over Cherokee Bluff on the road Wednesday.
Philip Mady, 6-2, 6-0, Kamyaab Cornett, 6-2, 6-2, and Truett Keener, 6-3, 6-4, rolled through the singles competition, while Charlie Burns and Caleb Anderson captured the No. 1 doubles match in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0. No. 2 doubles Andrew Elliott and Samuel Holt won 6-3, 7-6 with a tie break point.
