Two overnight fires in Hall County - one in the East Hall area and the other in North Hall - forced seven people out of their homes, according to Hall County Fire Services Division Chief Zachary Brackett.

"The first was in the 2800 block of Pierce Road," Brackett said in an email statement. "Crews found a 1500 square-foot home with heavy fire showing just after 3:30 a.m. A quick fire attack extinguished the fire. Two adults and one child were displaced and the American Red Cross was contacted for assistance."

The second fire was reported at 3:45 a.m. at a residence in the 3800 block of Cochran Road.

"Arriving units found a 2500 square-foot home on a basement with heavy fire showing throughout. Four adult occupants were displaced as a result of this incident," Brackett said.

He said no one was injured in either fire.
