Someone who was present at the latest Lula City Council meeting has tested positive for COVID-19, and city officials want others who were at the meeting to be aware of possible exposure.
City Manager Dennis Bergin released a statement Wednesday.
"Please be aware those that attended this past Monday’s Lula Council Meeting [Dec. 20, 2021] may have been exposed to an individual that has tested positive for the COVID virus," Bergin said via email. "Please be proactive to this issue and to your health."
Bergin estimated about 30 to 40 people attended Monday's meeting at Lula City Hall.
The city is unable to publicly identify the infected person because of privacy limitations.
