Hall County Government offices and facilities will operate on holiday schedules for both the Christmas and New Year holiday weekends. Essential public safety and public works personnel will continue service as usual during the holidays.
The following holiday schedule was released this past week:
Closed Dec. 24 - Dec. 26:
- Hall County administrative offices
- Hall County Courts
- Hall County Animal Shelter
- Hall County community centers
- Hall County libraries (also closed Dec. 23)
- Hall County Environmental Health (also closed Dec. 23)
- Hall County Landfill
- Hall County Recycling Center
Compactor sites will close on Christmas Day only.
Closed Monday, Dec. 27:
- Hall County administrative offices
- Hall County Courts
- Hall County Animal Shelter
- Hall County community centers
Closed Friday, Dec. 31:
- Hall County libraries
- Hall County community centers are open on Dec. 31 but will close early at 5 p.m.
Closed Saturday, Jan. 1:
- Hall County administrative offices

- Hall County Animal Shelter
- Hall County community centers
- Hall County libraries
