Hall County officials have planned for a workshop next week to help local nonprofits apply for American Rescue Plan Act funding.
The county has allotted $4 million of the $40 million they were given as part of ARPA to Hall County nonprofits. The workshop on November 19 is to help representatives from those nonprofits navigate applying for the funding.
"It's targeted towards the nonprofits who are interested in applying for the American Rescue Plan Assistance Grant program that we are doing for nonprofits, so with that, it should be people who are representing nonprofit organizations that are 501(c)(3) or other nonprofit status that are located in Hall County and serve Hall County residents," said Hall County Emergency Management Operations and Special Projects Manager Zach Brackett.
"They can expect an overview of the application and the requirements of the grant, and throughout the grant period, and answers to questions that they may have regarding the grant application."
The workshop will take place at 9 a.m. Friday, November 19, in the Banquet Hall at the Hall County Government Center. A virtual workshop is also available, with registration available here.
Anyone with questions can also email the county at [email protected].
Attending the workshop is not required to apply for the grant.
