According to a press release from the Hall County Sheriff's Office, the man was identified as Jartaqaron Duniteo Willis, 42, of Albany, Georgia.

The release states a preliminary investigation determined the conductor of the train sounded the horn and began slowing the train when Willis was seen walking on the track under the Ga. 60/Queen City Parkway Bridge. He was then hit by the train beneath the bridge.

Willis' body was sent to the medical examiner for an autopsy.

While the incident does remain under investigation, charges are not expected to be filed.
