Ari Mathe, a Gainesville-based child welfare attorney who is active with Hall is Home for Kids, discussed effort to collect money and gifts to that about 450 foster children in Hall County can have a Merry Christmas. Hall is Home for Kids was created in response to the growing needs of our local child welfare community, particularly foster children.

In 2019 and 2020, their efforts successfully provided Christmas gifts for over 1,200 foster children and gift cards for their caretaker families to help with Holiday meals. This year, the group hopes to host a party from the kids and their families at Beverly Ace Hardware.

Mathe appeared on the Monday, Oct. 25 edition of WDUN's "Newsroom."
