The Georgia Department of Transportation says motorists who use SR 11/US 129 in Gainesville - better known as Athens Highway - next week can expect travel delays.
GDOT construction crews will incorporate lane closures along with flagging operations as they install a new storm drain in the area. In addition, crews will be paving near the construction area.
Daytime flagging will begin Tuesday, Oct. 12 and will continue through Friday, Oct. 15. Motorists should expect delays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.
