RABBITTOWN — Top-ranked Jefferson showed out in the first half, storming to a 49-0 lead en route to a 63-0 win over East Hall at East Hall Stadium on Friday.
The Dragons held the Vikings to 78 total yards of offense in the blowout win.
Sammy Brown had another stellar night, rushing just eight times for 162 yards and three touchdowns. The other big storyline of the night was Jordan Perry's official return from injury. The senior running back only carried the ball twice but he didn't waste them, darting into the end zone from 13 yards out to give the Dragons a 14-0 lead with 9 minutes left in the opening period.
Tre Reece added a couple of scores on the night, including the opening score early in the first quarter. He scored again on a punt return with 7 minutes to go in the first, giving the Dragons a 21-0 lead. Jefferson returned two punts for touchdowns.
Jefferson led 49-0 at the half.
