Authorities investigating armed robbery in Lawrenceville

The Gwinnett Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred last Friday night at a Chevron gas station on Buford Dr. in Lawrenceville. 

According to a press release from the Gwinnett County Police Department, officers responded to a 911 call just before 9:00 p.m. 

The suspect is described as being a white male, approximately 5'8'' to 5'10'' in height, with blonde hair and a slim build. 

The suspect arrived at the store wearing a gray hoodie and put on a blue mask before entering the store.

While holding a black handgun, the male said to the store clerk, "Give me the money".

After getting the money from the clerk, he ran out of the store with over $600. 

Detectives are asking anyone with information that may lead to the identification of the male to please come forward. Witnesses are encouraged to call GCPD Investigators or Atlanta Crime Stoppers with any useful information.
