Northeast Georgia Medical Center welcomes first babies of 2021

Northeast Georgia Medical Center has welcomed the first babies born in 2021 at the Gainesville and Braselton campuses Friday.

The first baby of the new year was born at the Gainesville location. Jaxon Paul Green was born at 12:48 a.m. Jaxon was born to parents Jessica and Tyler Green of Commerce.

Green was born weighing 1 lb, 12 oz. measuring jsut over 13-inches long and is currently in NICU care.

The first baby born at the Braselton campus came at 2:54 a.m. Koltyn Lee Roberts was born to parents Alyssa Selkirk and Trent Roberts, weighing 7 lbs, 14 oz. and is just over 21-inches long.

Both families received gift packages from The NGHS Auxiliary, The Window Shops and Safe Kids Northeast Georgia.
