Some buildings of the Hall County Sheriff's Office will be closed for most of the day Wednesday, Sept. 30 so members of the HCSO family can attend visitation and a funeral service for Lt. Stephanie Hollingsworth.
Hollingsworth, a 31-year veteran of HCSO, was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Cleveland Highway north of Gainesville on Sunday, Sept. 20. Her husband was critically injured in the accident. The driver of the at-fault vehicle also suffered injuries.
The HCSO Headquarters, the North Precinct, the South Precinct and the lobby of the Hall County Jail will be closed to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Authorities said the closures will not impact law enforcement service in the county. Anyone who needs law enforcement assistance may call 911 for emergencies. Non-emergency calls will be answered at Hall County Dispatch at 770-536-8812.
