Two custodians who worked at South Forsyth High School currently are in jail on drug-related charges.

In a Friday-morning social media post, the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office announced the arrests of Katrina Herrick, 29, and Brent Charley, 30, both of Cumming. The two were taken into custody at separate times.

Herrick was arrested on Thursday after a traffic stop on Georgia 400. According to the information offered online, deputies called the Georgia State Patrol and the Johns Creek-Alpharetta-Forsyth (JCAF) Task Force to assist with a search of Herrick's vehicle. They found several pre-packaged bags of methamphetamine. During the course of the investigation, authorities were able to determine that Charley might be in possession of methamphetamine; agents found the illegal drugs and took Charley into custody.

Herrick has been charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, while Charley is charged with possession of methamphetamine.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and the Forsyth County Board of Education are working together on an investigation.

Herrick and Charley are no longer employed by the school system.
