Jacobs Media announced Monday that Kickoff 2020, the company's annual full-color magazine dedicated exclusively to high school football in North Georgia, will be released this week.

The 2020 edition is 116 pages and includes previews of 22 North Georgia teams, player profiles, photos, the season's top games, the best rivalries, schedules and more.

Kickoff 2020 will be available starting Wednesday at more than 50 locations, including the WDUN studios on Thompson Bridge Road. A full list of locations will be posted on AccessWDUN and on its social media platforms.

The magazine will be available for free.

"We all know how big high school football is in North Georgia," said Bill Maine, executive vice president and general manager. "Our first magazine last year was very good, but this year, our sports team has stepped up their game and made the it bigger and better. We can't wait for fans to see it."

The magazine was developed, written, edited and designed entirely by the AccessWDUN staff. More than 50 local businesses purchased advertising in the publication, and those advertisers will help distribute the magazine starting Wednesday.

The magazine features previews of 10 Hall County teams – Buford, Cherokee Bluff, Chestatee, East Hall, Flowery Branch, Gainesville, Johnson, Lakeview, North Hall and West Hall. It also features Banks County, Commerce, Dawson County, East Jackson, Habersham Central, Jackson County, Jefferson, Lumpkin County, Rabun County, Towns County, Union County and White County.

The Kickoff 2020 publication is just one part of Jacobs Media’s coverage plans for the upcoming football season. The Kickoff 2020 online preview, which features different content than the magazine, also will go live on Wednesday.

The 2020 season is set to kickoff on Sept. 4. The Friday Game Night tradition of carrying three games on three radio stations will continue this season. Games will be on WDUN AM 550, WDUN FM 102.9 and The Lake FM 94.5/AM 1240. The games can also be streamed via the stations’ website or streaming apps.

Caleb Hutchins will host the Friday Game Night Tailgate Show at 6 p.m. Fridays, and he will return for the Hardy Chevrolet Scoreboard Show following the games on Friday night.
