The Latinos Conservative Organization is taking part in a free community food drive-thru Saturday morning.
Participants will drive up to the Lighthouse Center in Gainesville any time from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday using the Rainey Street entrance. Food will be brought out.
The organization stressed that for health and safety reasons, those wishing to receive food distribution must stay in their vehicle at all times with no exceptions.
Sponsors of the event include J&J Foods, Main Street Gainesville, the City of Gainesville, Camille Viera Services, Allied and others.
