Banks County Election Supervisor Andra Phagan reminds residents participating in today’s runoff election that voting has been centralized.

“Due to the COVID-19 crisis, all Election Day voting, Aug. 11, will be held at the Banks County Recreation Department Gym, 607 Thompson St., Homer.

Moving all voting to the recreation department provides more space for social distancing.

On the ballot locally is a Republican runoff for County Commission District 4 between Keith Gardiner of Maysville and William Reems of Lula, and a Georgia Senate District 50 Republican runoff between Stacy Hall of Clarkesville and Bo Hatchett of Cornelia.
