The Detroit Free Press is reporting the Big Ten has voted to cancel the 2020 football season.
According to the story, the sources "requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly on the decision."
The announcement comes after the Mid-American Conference shut down its season, becoming the first FBS conference to cancel football.
It also comes a day after several Power-5 football players came out in favor of playing football this season.
Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh released a letter on social media earlier today in favor of playing football this season. He joins a long list of Power-5 players that are advocating for football to be played this season.
