Gwinnett County Police have arrested a Gainesville man in connection with the Friday shooting death of a Loganville man at a Suwanee business.

In an update, the police department said 18-year-old Joshua Brandt was taken into custody without incident at 10:00 a.m. Saturday. He was arrested on warrants for Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault.

Gwinnett Police said multiple reports of an active shooter situation came in around 2:30 p.m. Friday in the area of 600 Satellite Boulevard in Suwanee, the address of Direct Technologies.

First responders found 38-year-old James Ross with a gunshot wound, though multiple employees of the business were in the building at the time of the shooting. He later died at a hospital.

Police told CBS 46 it appears the victim was targeted based on the movements of the shooter through the building, although they offered no other information on a possible motive.
